JJ Van der Berg

JJ is an associate in our Conveyancing Department where he specializes in property transfers through estate agents. JJ joined our firm on 1 October 2021. 

JJ was born and raised in Bloemfontein  in the Free State. He obtained his LL.B degree from the University of the Free State in 2019 and completed his articles of clerkship with Lovius Block in Bloemfontein. He was admitted as an Attorney on 11 March 2021 thereafter he was also admitted as a Conveyancer on 3 March 2023 and a Notary on 2 February 2024.

JJ is a passionate musician and has a keen interest in sports, traveling, and the great outdoors. He enjoys a round of golf with friends, indulging in outdoor pursuits like hunting and fishing, and explores new destinations with his wife, Anneline.
